David Raccuglia photographed Billy Idol in a

series of portraits created for the release of

Idol’s latest album Dream Into It.

Rising from the late-1970s London punk

scene as a member of Generation X, Idol

became one of the defining rock stars of the

MTV era with hits including White Wedding,

Rebel Yell, and Eyes Without a Face.

For the Dark Horse Records release,

Raccuglia created a cinematic set of

portraits capturing Idol’s unmistakable

attitude and presence. The images were

used throughout the album’s visual

campaign, including the LP cover and

promotional materials.
